Our present work

Our present cause is to centralize community resources and coordinate resident engagement in response to a proposed large-scale development project that raises significant concerns regarding health, environmental, and economic outcomes. Chronic illnesses, dry wells, deforestation, decreased property values, and polluted air and water are some of the documented impacts that projects just like this have caused in other communities. Given the scale of the proposed development, the potential for negative, far-reaching consequences can not be overstated - our natural resources, rural character, and quality of life for the people of Clinton Township and neighboring communities are at risk. By coordinating community resources and efforts, we work to ensure that local voices are heard and that decisions for our future reflect the best interests of those who call this community home.
